The festival runs daily until April 21 at Disney California Adventure. There are also special offerings at Disneyland Resort hotels and Downtown Disney. The main event, though, features eight festival marketplaces in Disney California Adventure. You can order from any marketplace at any of them, making it easy to enjoy a variety of dishes.

This year, the Sip & Savor Pass is available again. It can save you some money if you choose wisely. The eight-item pass is $63 plus tax, averaging about $7.88 per dish. The four-item pass costs $32 plus tax, averaging about $8 each. Magic Key holders can grab the eight-item pass for $58, lowering their cost to $7.25 each. Use the pass for more expensive marketplace items to save even more!

You can also use this pass at select DCA restaurants for snack-sized items. We sampled treats from Aunt Cass Cafe and Paradise Garden Grill during our tasting.

Now, let’s dive into the food! Unfortunately, we were not fans of the Asa’DOS [$9.75], which had a tough skirt steak and sharp chipotle flavors that didn’t sit well with either of us.

On a brighter note, here are our top four picks:

4. Burrata Toast on sourdough with onion jam, tomatoes, arugula, and balsamic glaze [$8.49], from Aunt Cass Cafe: This dish offered a refreshing taste, especially with the nice balance of flavors. The burrata on the toast was delightful and not overly salty like many other festival items.

3. Chicken Taquito Ahogado with salsa verde, Spanish rice, avocado crema, sour cream, pickled onion, cotija, and cilantro [$7.99], from Paradise Garden Grill: It looked messy, but in a good way! The crispy taquito was loaded with toppings, making it fun to eat. This one also has a larger entree version for those who want a bigger meal.

2. Birria Mac & Cheese [$9], from Mercado de Antojos: This dish won us over with its layers of flavors. The crushed tortilla chips added crunch to the creamy mac and cheese, complemented by slow-cooked beef and a zesty sauce.

1. Lemon Pepper Wings with garlic ranch [$9], from California Craft Brews: Our absolute favorite! The wings were perfectly crispy, with a refreshing lemon flavor balanced by pepper. The garlic ranch dipping sauce was a perfect match. We couldn’t stop eating these!

Besides the delicious food, the festival features the classic Soarin’ Over California and the Cookin’ with the Jammin’ Chefs show at Paradise Park. There are also weekend culinary demonstrations to check out.
