The Tigers made an explosive start, with junior Stefania Abruscato hitting a two-run homer in the first inning, her fourth of the season. Freshman Abby Carr contributed with an RBI single, and sophomore Madison Uptegrove added a two-RBI triple, bringing the score to 5-0 after just one inning.
