Cleveland Cavaliers to Broadcast Five Upcoming Games Live on Rock Entertainment Sports Network and WUAB Channel 43 – Don’t Miss the Action!

ATLANTA, Jan. 21, 2025 – Exciting news for basketball fans! The Cleveland Cavaliers are teaming up with Rock Entertainment Sports Network, Gray Media, and FanDuel Sports Network to simulcast five of their upcoming games. This means fans in Northeast Ohio will have multiple ways to watch the action, all at no extra cost.

The games will be shown statewide on Rock Entertainment Sports Network. If you’re in Northeast Ohio, you can catch them on channel 979 with Spectrum, over-the-air on channel 22.1, or on WUAB Channel 43. In Columbus, tune in on WDEM channel 17.1, and in Cincinnati, watch on channel 19.3. FanDuel Sports Network will also air the games.

Here’s the broadcast schedule:

  • Feb. 10 at 7:00 p.m. EST | Cavaliers vs. Minnesota Timberwolves
  • Feb. 23 at 7:30 p.m. EST | Cavaliers vs. Memphis Grizzlies
  • Mar. 11 at 7:00 p.m. EST | Cavaliers vs. Brooklyn Nets
  • Mar. 27 at 7:00 p.m. EST | Cavaliers vs. San Antonio Spurs
  • Apr. 2 at 7:00 p.m. EST | Cavaliers vs. New York Knicks

Mike Conley, the Executive Vice President of the Cavaliers and Rock Entertainment Group, shared, “The Cleveland Cavaliers have had an incredible start this season. We want to give our fans plenty of options to watch our games live.” This partnership with Gray Media is a major step for the team to reach more fans this season.

Coached by Kenny Atkinson, the Cavaliers are enjoying a fantastic season. With star players like Donovan Mitchell, Darius Garland, Jarrett Allen, and Evan Mobley, they hold the best record in the NBA at 36 wins and only 6 losses. They’ve even had streaks of 12 or more wins, including an impressive 15-0 start.

The broadcast team for these games remains unchanged. John Michael will be the play-by-play announcer, with analysts Brad Daugherty and Austin Carr. Serena Winters and Cayleigh Griffin will also return as sideline reporter and host for Cavaliers Live.

David Hughes, Vice President and General Manager of WOIO and WUAB, expressed excitement about the increased access to Cavaliers games. “We’re thrilled to give more fans a chance to see this amazing team in action,” he stated.
