CM Yogi Adityanath Celebrates Youth Empowerment and Discipline at the 19th National Jamboree: A Diamond Jubilee Tribute to Bharat Scouts and Guides

Lucknow recently hosted the National Jamboree of Bharat Scouts and Guides, a significant event celebrating youth empowerment and unity. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath emphasized the importance of discipline, calling it the cornerstone for any successful life. He believes that a disciplined youth can uplift the nation.

During his speech, Yogi praised the energy and determination displayed by participants from across India and beyond. He described the Jamboree as a unique gathering, similar to the 2025 Prayagraj Mahakumbh, which attracted millions. This event marks a historic moment as it was the first Jamboree to be held in Uttar Pradesh in 61 years.

Youth participation in activities like adventure challenges and cultural workshops contributed to a vibrant atmosphere. The theme for this year, “Viksit Bharat–Viksit Yuva,” aligns perfectly with Prime Minister Modi’s vision for a developed India led by responsible youth.

Surveys indicate that engaging youth in community activities can foster a sense of belonging and purpose. According to a recent report by the National Youth Commission, nearly 70% of young people believe that participation in such events can enhance personal growth and social skills.

The event also attracted several dignitaries, including President Droupadi Murmu and various state officials, all reinforcing the values of discipline and service integral to the Scouts and Guides movement.

In social media discussions around the event, many young attendees expressed how sessions on teamwork and community service inspired them to take positive actions in their own communities. This surge in enthusiasm among young people reflects a broader trend of youth involvement in nation-building activities.

The closing ceremony celebrated the shared commitment to peace and unity, resonating deeply with the principles of scouting. As these young participants return home, they carry not only memories but a renewed dedication to contributing to society.
