Commodore Raghu R. Nair: Indian Military’s Unwavering Vigilance and Readiness

New Delhi: India is standing firm in its commitment to safeguard its sovereignty, according to Commodore Raghu R Nair. He emphasized that the military remains vigilant and ready amidst a recent ceasefire agreement with Pakistan.

“While we will respect the ceasefire, our armed forces—including the Army, Navy, and Air Force—are fully prepared to defend our nation,” said Commodore Nair after four days of conflict between the two countries.

He stated, “All military activities, whether on land, air, or sea, will cease. We have shown strength against any provocations from Pakistan, and any future escalations will face a decisive response.”

Joining him, Colonel Sofiya Qureshi dismissed allegations from Pakistan regarding damage to India’s military capabilities. She asserted, “Claims that our S400 missile defense and BrahMos missile base were compromised by Pakistan’s JF-17 jets are completely false.”

Colonel Qureshi also refuted assertions that Indian airfields and military installations had been harmed. “Reports regarding damage to our key sites in Sirsa, Jammu, and elsewhere are outright misinformation,” she clarified.

She added, “We respect every place of worship in India. There have been no attacks on mosques, contrary to Pakistan’s claims. Our military reflects India’s constitutional values, which uphold secularism.”

In support of these statements, Wing Commander Vyomika Singh noted that the Pakistan military has been pushing a misinformation campaign during this period. “Their press conferences were misleading and lacked factual basis,” she said, reinforcing the point that the Indian Armed Forces target only terrorist infrastructures.

Singh also highlighted significant losses incurred by Pakistan after their unprovoked attacks, claiming damage to vital Pakistani airbases and a breakdown in their defense capabilities. “This includes extensive damage across the Line of Control, affecting military infrastructure and morale,” she reported.
