Community Hospital is excited to welcome Erin Pascoe, a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP), to our Behavioral Health team. Erin is not just experienced; she has a personal connection to McCook, where her healthcare journey began.
Originally from Curtis and born at Community Hospital, Erin has over ten years in emergency medicine and behavioral health. She’s committed to helping her patients achieve their mental health goals and live fulfilling lives.
“I am thrilled to return to Community Hospital. My aim is to show patients they’re not alone in their struggles and to provide caring, comprehensive support,” she says.
Erin specializes in treating a variety of mental health issues, including depression, anxiety, trauma, and substance use disorders. She’s passionate about breaking the stigma surrounding mental health and focuses on meeting patients where they are. She offers both medication management and therapeutic support.
Did you know that according to recent studies, anxiety and depression rates have surged, especially during the recent pandemic? The World Health Organization reports that anxiety increased by 25% worldwide in the first year of COVID-19. This makes Erin’s role even more vital as communities seek effective mental health support.
Erin looks forward to working alongside local providers to enhance care for patients. By being part of the Community Hospital family, she’s ready to make a real difference.
