Concordia Texas Baseball Team Shines in Doubleheader Against St. Thomas
In an exciting day of baseball, the Concordia Texas Tornados swept the University of St. Thomas in a doubleheader at Gardner-Boggs Field, winning both games convincingly.
Game One Recap: Concordia Texas 10, St. Thomas 0 (7 Innings)
The Tornados set the tone early. In the first inning, Colby Christian hit a double to score Zach Seigrist, followed by a sacrifice fly from Bo Dinscore that brought in Aaron Gomez. A groundout by Carson Riley extended the lead to 3-0. Smart base running soon saw Seigrist steal home, giving CTX a 4-0 advantage.
In the third, Kalen Clark scored on wild pitches, and in the fourth, Seigrist notched another RBI, making it 6-0. The Tornados capped their scoring in the seventh with a two-RBI hit from Eric Garcia, leading to a dominating 10-0 finish.

Despite St. Thomas adding a run in the sixth, the Tornados added six more runs in their next at-bat. Garcia sealed the deal with another RBI single, securing a 14-4 victory.
