Concordia Texas Softball Team Shines in SCAC All-Conference Selections
The Concordia Texas softball team made a strong mark in the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) this season. Eight players earned All-Conference honors, showcasing their talent and teamwork.
Standout Players
Kylie Denaro was a standout in the outfield. She boasted a remarkable .421 batting average and a total of 51 hits. Denaro’s speed on the bases was impressive, with 21 stolen bases to her name. Her ability to keep the pressure on opposing teams helped her earn a spot on the First Team.
Kylie Kirk not only excelled at the plate but also showed her skills on the mound. She led the team with a .430 batting average, hitting 8 home runs and driving in 50 runs. Kirk also pitched well, recording 76 strikeouts and a 2.82 ERA. Her versatility makes her a key player.
At shortstop, Lilly Longoria shone with a .431 batting average and 44 hits. She consistently contributed to both offense and defense, earning First Team honors as well.
Malarie Mican received Second Team honors. She had a .387 average and was perfect on stolen base attempts, going 36-for-36. This made her a constant threat on the bases.
Other players recognized included Christian Everett, Karlee Mathis, Molly Olivarez, and Mia Post, who were celebrated for their contributions as well.
