FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — Emily Braden from Clinton has made the Dean’s List at the University of Arkansas for the Spring 2025 Semester. This recognition highlights her hard work and dedication to her studies.
To earn a spot on the Dean’s List, students must achieve a GPA of 3.75 or higher while completing at least 12 credit hours. For law students, the requirement is a GPA of 3.0 or above. Braden’s achievement places her among a select group of high-achieving students.
“We are incredibly proud of the students who have earned a place on the Dean’s List this semester,” said Provost Terry Martin. “Achieving this level of academic success is no small feat and shows their dedication and perseverance. It also reflects the support from families and mentors who play a crucial role in their journeys.”
Being recognized on the Dean’s List is more than just an accolade; it can also boost future opportunities. Research shows that students on the Dean’s List are more likely to secure internships and job offers post-graduation. A study from the National Center for Education Statistics found that graduation rates are significantly higher for students who actively engage in their academic communities—something Braden and her peers exemplify.
