On June 1, Musinsa Standard unveiled plans to expand its popular ‘Cooltandard’ collection, launching six new fan models just in time for summer. Since 2020, ‘Cooltandard’ has offered refreshing apparel made from practical materials, and this season, it’s bringing new cooling options for homes.
Last year, Musinsa introduced three fan types: a tiny portable fan, a larger portable option, and a folding fan. These saw incredible success, selling over 13,000 units combined. This year, the brand is responding to customer demand with six new designs, including a wireless circulator fan, a desktop model, and new color options for existing fans.
The highlight of this lineup is the ‘Wireless Circulator BLDC Fan’. It features an efficient, quiet motor, 3D oscillation, and adjustable height. Plus, it can run wirelessly for up to 35 hours, making it versatile enough for any room in the house.
To celebrate the launch, Musinsa will host a live broadcast at 8 p.m. on the same day. Partnering with home appliance YouTuber Gajeon Jubu, who has over 440,000 subscribers, the event will showcase different fan uses and offer discounts of up to 66%.
A spokesperson for Musinsa outlined the brand’s vision: “We’re not just selling fans; we’re enhancing summer lifestyles. Alongside fans, we will offer cooling pillow covers and bedding that match our minimalist aesthetic.” This commitment to design and function highlights the growing importance of comfort and style in everyday products.
Summer’s heat can be overwhelming, with June typically seeing temperatures rise significantly. According to a recent survey, 70% of consumers prioritize cooling products as essential for summer comfort. Musinsa’s approach is timely, aiming to make homes not just cooler but also more stylish.
With the forum for convenience and aesthetics becoming more critical in consumer choices, Musinsa’s expansion into lifestyle items seems to hit the mark. As summers get hotter, the demand for functional yet sleek cooling solutions will likely continue to grow.
