Makiné, a creative studio, has brought in Corina Capuano as its new chief brand officer. Corina is a well-known figure from FX Networks and Fox International Channels. Her appointment is part of CEO Maria Alejandra Padua’s plan to revamp Makiné’s leadership and boost its branding and marketing services for clients in entertainment, advertising, media, and technology globally.
Along with Corina, Jesus M. Rodriguez takes on the role of chief creative officer, while Alberto Hadyar becomes chief design officer. Together, they aim to elevate Makiné’s creative output. Corina’s recent work as a creative director includes the refresh for Disney Jr., where she collaborated with Alberto, the executive creative director. Makiné is also involved in rebranding the Disney Channel.
Maria praised Corina, saying, “She’s a pioneer in the industry, making paths for agencies and women in entertainment. She blends marketing savvy with creative vision, ensuring all team members are aligned from initial ideas to final designs.”
Corina shared her excitement about joining Makiné: “This is a place that values good work and great people. I want us to inspire others. My experience on the brand side will help in building strong connections in the entertainment world and beyond. I look forward to helping clients shape not just their visuals but their entire brand ethos.”
Before joining Makiné, Corina was VP of creative at FX Networks, managing campaigns for popular shows like *Pose* and *Cake*. She also led diversity and inclusion efforts at FX, working on social justice initiatives and PSA campaigns. Her collaboration with Makiné began with the “Fearless Pioneers” campaign during Hispanic and Latinx Heritage Month.
Corina noted, “We clicked immediately. We shared a vision for ideas and design that made our communication smooth. They took my concepts and enhanced them beyond my expectations. I knew they were the right partner to reach our multicultural audience.”
Before FX, Corina led the creative team at Fox International, managing some significant rebrands and running campaigns for *The Walking Dead*. She also had a decade-long role as VP at Fox LATAM Channels in Buenos Aires, where she established a creative hub serving multiple regions.
Aside from her corporate achievements, Corina is an engaging speaker and teacher, having taught Design and Typography at the University of Buenos Aires. Her work has garnered awards from the New York Festivals, Clios, FIAP, and Promax.
