AUSTIN, Texas – The University of Houston Softball team finished the Longhorn Invitational on a high note, defeating Prairie View A&M 8-0 on Sunday. This impressive victory was marked by a stellar performance from sophomore Nevaeh Brown, who threw her third career complete game shutout in just five innings and set a new personal best with nine strikeouts.
Despite a tough loss to Prairie View A&M the night before, the Cougars (14-6) dominated this match, racking up 11 hits. They scored early, with a three-run second inning and a four-run fourth inning that solidified their lead.
