Experts have pointed out that hydropower projects, extensive road building, and deforestation are significantly damaging the environment. The court argued that all Himalayan states need to collaborate to tackle these unique challenges. They want Himachal Pradesh to act immediately to address these pressing ecological issues. They also called on the central government to help ensure the state’s environmental stability.
