Ranchi: Love truly knows no boundaries, and a beautiful story from Ranchi highlights this perfectly. Ira Francisca Bernasol from the Philippines and Pitambar Kumar Singh from Jharkhand found their way to each other despite differences in culture and language, and they tied the knot recently.
Ira and Pitambar are officially married after having a court ceremony at the registry office in Hinoo, Ranchi. They received their marriage certificate from the registrar, Balmiki Sahu, who guided them through the process.
“Ira, a Filipina, and Pitambar from Dhurva applied for a court marriage. We handled the paperwork and issued their marriage certificate,” said Sahu.
A Love Story that Began in Dubai
The couple’s journey started in Dubai, where Pitambar was working when he met Ira. Their connection blossomed into a loving relationship, and they made the decision to get married.
Initially, Pitambar’s family had some doubts about the marriage. However, the couple was committed to making it work. “I brought Ira to Ranchi, introduced her to my family, and then to hers. Finally, we set the wedding date,” he shared.
Their wedding celebration was filled with joy and held in traditional Hindu style. Ira looked stunning as an Indian bride, embracing every custom with enthusiasm. “We are so happy that our love has a home in India. I appreciate my family’s support throughout this journey,” Pitambar said.
