D23 2025: Complete Guide to Every Movie and Series Unveiled at This Year’s Fan Event!

Disney’s Destination D23 event on August 30 brought plenty of excitement for fans, even if it wasn’t packed with major announcements like the D23 Expo. Here are some highlights from the Walt Disney Studios Showcase that you won’t want to miss.

Toy Story 5 is on the way! Director Andrew Stanton previously teased a battle between toys and technology. In this latest movie, Woody and Buzz will face off against an iPad-like character called Lily Pad. New concept art shows an army of Buzz Lightyears stranded on a deserted island, setting the stage for some fun chaos. Conan O’Brien will voice a new character, Smarty Pants, who’s a potty-training toy. Toy Story 5 opens in theaters on June 19, 2026.
