The Dead or Alive 6 website now lists what players can bring from the original game to Last Round this summer. Players can transfer DLC costumes, game progress, and most saved data, including unlocked outfits and hairstyles. However, some DLC, like Premium Tickets and hair color changes, won’t carry over.
On a different note, crossplay between consoles isn’t supported, and the game will only be available digitally. Fans are still waiting for news on rollback netcode, a highly requested feature that could improve online gameplay. As of now, Koei Tecmo hasn’t made any announcements about this.
There’s also a bit of bad news based on an unofficial email from Koei Tecmo support. This email states that players who own the standard version of “Dead or Alive 6” won’t get an upgrade or discount for Last Round. Additionally, popular guest characters Mai Shiranui and Kula Diamond are not returning in this version. The updated edition will feature 29 characters, compared to the original’s 31.
The good news is all previously released DLC characters will be included. Plus, a free Core Fighters version will launch, providing players with characters like Kasumi, Marie Rose, Honoka, and NiCO at no cost.
