The Delaware State Police made an arrest in Camden-Wyoming on Saturday. They caught Whitey Moore, 64, from Felton, for his fifth DUI offense.
Around 2:00 p.m., an officer noticed Moore’s GMC Sierra swerving on Henry Cowgill Road. A check revealed the truck had an unregistered plate. During the stop, the officer noticed signs that Moore was impaired. A search of the vehicle found several empty alcohol bottles.
At Troop 3, Moore still showed signs of impairment, prompting a blood test warrant. Records showed he had four previous DUI charges and was driving with a suspended license.
Moore now faces several charges, including:
- Fifth Offense DUI (Felony)
- Driving While Suspended
- Various Traffic Violations
He was arraigned and is currently held at the Sussex Correctional Institution on a $5,700 cash bond.
