This week, I want to share a little about my furry friend, Itzl. He has a watchful look that reminds us to connect with each other. This space is for sharing updates and checking in on one another. If you’re facing bad weather—like floods or heatwaves—this is a place to let us know you’re okay. We really care about everyone here!
If you’re looking to get involved, the Itzl Alert Network (IAN) is a fantastic group. It’s a supportive space where you can learn to write and share your thoughts. Anyone is welcome to jump in and contribute. Whether it’s a diary entry, photos, or news, all voices are valued. Just send a message if you’d like to join!
We have a friendly schedule of regular diary writers:
- Monday: Youffraita
- Tuesday: bigjacbigjacbigjac
- Wednesday: Tippy and Dad
- Thursday: art ah zen
- Friday: FloridaSNMOM
- Saturday: FloridaSNDad
- Sunday: loggersbrat
On a different note, I recently made a casserole that turned out really well. I still have potatoes and green beans left, so I’m planning to make another one soon. I might pick up some ground beef to add to the mix. It’s always nice to use up what I have in the pantry while experimenting with flavors.
By the way, did you know that comfort food can actually boost your mood? A recent study found that people feel happier after eating meals that remind them of home. It seems like cooking can be both a creative outlet and a source of joy.
Wishing you all a wonderful day! Stay connected and take care!
Hugs!
