Delta Air Lines is enhancing its onboard experience with exciting new features coming in 2025. The airline is focusing on Delta Sync Wi-Fi, collaborating with DraftKings and YouTube to make your flight more enjoyable.
One standout feature is the partnership with DraftKings, a well-known digital sports entertainment company. This collaboration aims to offer eligible SkyMiles Members free gaming access through Delta Sync Wi-Fi. It’s important to note that this will not include real money or miles betting; it’s purely for some fun while you travel.
Additionally, Delta has teamed up with YouTube. As a result, SkyMiles Members can look forward to watching their favorite videos, podcasts, and music without any ads during their flights. This move brings the comfort of home entertainment right to the skies.
Julieta McCurry, Delta’s VP of In-Flight Entertainment and Connectivity, said, “Delta is constantly listening to our customers and evolving to meet their needs. We know they want an inflight experience similar to what they have at home. That’s why we’re excited about our upcoming collaborations with brands like YouTube and DraftKings.”
Currently, Delta Sync Wi-Fi is available on over 880 aircraft, offering streaming-quality connectivity. This summer, the airline plans to expand this service to travelers on its busiest international routes. Regional aircraft will also receive improved connectivity technology by the end of the year.
Delta also features Delta Sync seatback, a personalized inflight entertainment system on more than 330 planes. Logged-in customers can receive real-time trip notifications and tailored recommendations, with more enhancements expected in the future.
