However, it’s worth mentioning that the graphics are less sharp on the original Switch. The pixel count is around 504p for general graphics and 576p for Samus’ visor, lower than 2023’s Metroid Prime Remastered. Despite these numbers, the level of detail in shadows and effects remains comparable to the newer Switch 2 version. Retro made these adjustments to ensure players on the older console could still enjoy the full experience, albeit with some sacrifices in texture quality and anti-aliasing.
