Digital Science has formed a new Advisory Board. This group aims to enhance how the company connects with the communities it serves.

The board includes six leaders who represent a wide range of perspectives from Digital Science’s diverse stakeholder environment.

Daniel Hook, the CEO of Digital Science, emphasized the importance of responsible technological advancement in research. He stated, “We set a standard for responsibility with our Open Principles, and our new Advisory Board is another step in showing our commitment to improvement.”

The board consists of global experts across multiple fields, providing strategic guidance to support continued innovation. They will help ensure Digital Science delivers reliable advancements to the communities relying on its work.

Here are the Advisory Board members:

  • Jackie Hunter, Chair, Biocortex, Brainomix, and the Stevenage Bioscience Catalyst
  • Chonnettia Jones, President, Addgene
  • Linda O’Brien, Adjunct Professor, Griffith University, Australia
  • Hemai Parthasarathy, former Head of Rapid Evaluation, Google X
  • Benoit Schillings, CTO, Google X
  • Joanne Sheppard, Advisor, Holtzbrinck Publishing Group

The board will meet four times a year to tackle important issues in the research ecosystem and share insights to help Digital Science grow strategically.
