  • Dallas suburbs also shine with McKinney and Frisco landing at 9th and 10th places. Both have low drug overdose rates and good crime statistics. McKinney’s housing averages $2,101 monthly with an income of $120,273, while in Frisco, housing is $2,389 and income is $146,158.
  • The Midwest features low crime rates, with Scottsburg, IN reporting no violent crimes and only 10 property crimes among its 7,338 residents. Canal Winchester, OH, follows closely, with just one violent crime in a population of 9,659.
  • Ames, IA has the lowest drug overdose deaths. Its rate is just 7.7 per 100,000 residents, significantly lower than the national average of 26.6.
  • Boston and NYC suburbs report fewer traffic fatalities. Lexington and Somerville, MA, have just 4 deaths per 100,000 people, while several New Jersey towns share similar statistics.
