Artyzen Hospitality Group (AHG) is making an exciting move by planning to open its first luxury hotel in Xi’an, China. This represents their entry into this historic city and aligns with their goal of thoughtful growth in the region.
The agreement was signed recently by Rogier Verhoeven from AHG and Yang Zengtian from Xi’an Yang’s Real Estate Development Co., Ltd. Both are excited about what this new venture means for Xi’an.
Verhoeven noted that Xi’an’s rich history and status as a center for innovation make it an excellent choice for the Artyzen brand. He believes this hotel will become a key cultural tourism spot in the city.
The Artyzen Xi’an is set to open in the first quarter of 2028. It will feature 280 stylish guest rooms, blending modern design with local aesthetics. Located in the heart of Xi’an’s central business district, the hotel will be close to the famous Xi’an Grand Theatre, which is renowned for its unique sound experience.
The hotel will be designed by Wang Shu, a celebrated architect and the first Chinese Pritzker Prize winner. His involvement promises a building that reflects both local culture and contemporary style.
Yang Zengtian expressed excitement about partnering with AHG and contributing to Xi’an’s hospitality growth. He looks forward to crafting experiences that celebrate the rich heritage and vibrant spirit of the city.
As part of a growing network of 17 properties across the Asia Pacific, Artyzen Xi’an will focus on honoring local culture and heritage. Guests can expect thoughtfully designed spaces and curated experiences that invite them to explore Xi’an’s fascinating history and diverse flavors.
