Discover Bharat Innovates 2026: India’s Bold Vision Unveiled in Paris Ahead of Nice Conference!

India recently showcased its ambitious deep-tech startup program, “Bharat Innovates 2026,” at a roadshow in Paris. This initiative aims to attract global investors and enhance collaboration in the field of innovation.

The event gathered key figures from India’s Ministry of Education, the Indian Embassy in Paris, and the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), along with over 50 representatives from France’s business and innovation sectors. Notable companies and institutions like La French Tech, VivaTech, and ESCP Business School were in attendance, emphasizing the importance of cross-border partnerships.

The goal of the roadshow was to inform potential investors about the opportunities within Bharat Innovates 2026. K. M. Praphullachandra Sharma, Joint Secretary of the Ministry of Education, stressed the importance of this program for strengthening ties between India and France. Govind Jaiswal, also from the Ministry, presented various ways for French and international investors to tap into India’s burgeoning innovation scene.

Bharat Innovates 2026 will focus on 13 cutting-edge technology sectors such as advanced computing, semiconductors, and biotechnology. The first phase aims to bring India’s top 120 deep-tech startups to France, fostering partnerships in research, development, and manufacturing.

This initiative reflects a growing trend in global business where countries are increasingly looking to collaborate on technology and innovation to tackle complex challenges. According to a recent report by McKinsey, cross-border partnerships in tech have surged by 30% over the past five years. Collaboration not only propels innovation but also drives economic growth, creating jobs and improving standards of living.

The initiative was initially announced by Prime Minister Narendra Modi during the launch of the India-France Year of Innovation, showcasing the commitment of both nations to a strategic partnership focused on technology.

As the global startup ecosystem evolves, programs like Bharat Innovates 2026 highlight the importance of innovation as a driver of economic success and the potential for significant global partnerships in the technology landscape.
