Bose is stepping up its game against Sonos in the world of premium speakers. The new Lifestyle Collection features a smart speaker, a soundbar, and a subwoofer. Each piece fits nicely into your home and tech setup.

The Bose Lifestyle Ultra Speaker ($299) aims to impress with a compact design. It has not only front-facing drivers but also an up-firing driver. This setup is similar to Dolby Atmos speakers and is intended to provide a wider sound experience. Available in white, black, and Driftwood Sand, it has a modern look that blends well.

Next up is the Bose Lifestyle Ultra Soundbar ($1,099). It’s the first major redesign of their soundbar in over a decade. With front and up-facing drivers, it also supports Dolby Atmos. This soundbar features a center tweeter and a technology called SpeechClarity, which makes dialogue clearer. Plus, it includes QuietPort, promising powerful bass for those action-packed moments.

Lastly, the optional Bose Lifestyle Ultra Subwoofer ($899) delivers deep bass, enhancing the overall audio experience. Like the speaker and soundbar, it comes in black or white.

All three components support Bluetooth and Wi-Fi, allowing multi-room setups. You can connect via Apple AirPlay or Google Cast, making it more user-friendly than Bose’s previous SoundTouch system, which was discontinued earlier this year due to lackluster sales. These new devices also come with built-in Alexa+, Amazon’s smart assistant that can play music and control smart devices.

The Lifestyle Collection will be available starting May 15, and you can pre-order them on the Bose website.
