Chanel Iman made her mark in fashion when she graced the cover of Vogue in May 2007 for the “World’s Next Top Models” issue. Since then, she has worked with top brands like Dior, Tom Ford, and Versace. She also captured hearts as a Victoria’s Secret Angel. Despite her success, the constant travel often left her feeling unsettled.
Fast forward to today, and Chanel is a proud mom of three. At 34, she has launched her brand, Chasa. The brand is preparing for its Valentine’s Day expansion. It reflects her love of fashion and interior design, focusing on affordable luxury. Chanel draws from her own experiences as a model, where she learned to create a sense of “home” anywhere. For her, home is defined by three simple comforts: a cozy blanket, a calming candle, and a favorite mug.
“Chasa enhances everyday life,” Chanel explains. “Our Valentine’s collection celebrates love and family, bringing people together. We’ve introduced a baby and kids collection, complete with adorable robes, and a new candle with a lovely santal fragrance.”
Chanel’s passion for fashion runs deep. “Since starting my modeling career, I’ve dreamed of merging my love for fashion with interior design. Chasa is a realization of that dream.” The brand aims to evoke the warmth and comfort she experienced moving to New York City as a young model, emphasizing simple pleasures that make a house feel like home.
Now, her bathroom serves as her personal refuge. “It’s my sanctuary,” she shares. “I love taking warm bubble baths, lighting candles, and playing soft music. My mom helps with the kids, allowing me some time to recharge, often with friends.”
This Valentine’s Day is special. “My daughters will be off from school, and we plan to celebrate together as a family. In the evening, my husband will likely treat me to a nice dinner. It’s perfect since it’s a Friday!”
