Cocina Flores just launched as a vibrant new Mexican food truck outside Cascade Indoor Sports, and it’s already making waves in Bend. This family-run business started in early April, and I couldn’t be happier it’s here.
Jacquie Flores, one of the family members, shared how they got started. After buying the food truck from a friend, they aimed to showcase their culture and flavors to the community.
Positioning themselves outside Cascade Indoor Sports was a smart move. The location is bustling with events, which gave them a great opportunity to connect with locals. I tried their Quesabirria tacos, recommended to me as a must-try. Honestly, they were some of the best I’ve had in Bend. The tacos came with rich meat sauce for dipping, and my father, who also tasted them, couldn’t get enough.
Having grown up in Bend, I’ve learned that the best food often comes from family-owned trucks like Cocina Flores. There’s something special about a family sharing their culture through food that brings the community together. If you’re in the mood for a delicious meal, visiting Cocina Flores at Cascade Indoor Sports is a must. You’re in for a treat!
