Orlando Health Lung and Sleep Medicine Group has opened a new clinic at the Orlando Health Medical Pavilion in St. Cloud. This expansion brings crucial pulmonary and sleep care services right into Osceola County, making it easier for local residents to access specialized care.
At the helm of this clinic are Dr. Abed Madanieh and Dr. Chirin Orabi. They both specialize in diagnosing and treating lung and sleep-related issues. Dr. Madanieh focuses on complex lung conditions like chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), asthma, and more. He also works with critically ill patients in the ICU at Orlando Health St. Cloud Hospital.
Dr. Orabi, who is also board certified in pulmonary and critical care medicine, treats a range of conditions, including sleep disorders like sleep apnea. She cares for patients with serious conditions in the ICU as well. Both doctors aim to help patients breathe easier and improve their overall quality of life.
“We want to empower individuals to live fuller lives,” Dr. Orabi says. This new clinic is part of Orlando Health’s mission to bring specialized healthcare closer to communities in Central Florida.
Orlando Health itself is a not-for-profit organization based in Orlando. They manage a strong network of hospitals, emergency rooms, and outpatient facilities. With over 29,000 employees and nearly 5,000 physicians, they’re known for providing excellent trauma care and innovative medical research.
According to recent statistics, nearly 30 million Americans suffer from chronic lung diseases. This number highlights the importance of accessible healthcare services, especially in areas like Osceola County, where this new clinic offers a convenient option for residents.
This opening shows Orlando Health’s dedication to compassionate, high-quality care. It not only serves the local community but also addresses a big need for specialized pulmonary and sleep services.
