Discover Gabriel Basso: The Rising Star Behind Netflix’s Hit Series ‘The Night Agent’

Netflix is bringing back its hit political thriller, The Night Agent, and it’s set to be even more exciting. The second season will premiere on January 23. Gabriel Basso steps back into the role of FBI agent Peter Sutherland, joined by newcomers Berto Colon and Brittany Snow. Most of the new episodes were filmed in New York, with some scenes also shot in Washington and Thailand.

To drum up excitement for the upcoming season, Basso took part in a thrilling skydive from a Netflix blimp during the NFL Christmas Gameday Live event. He made a grand entrance into Houston’s NRG Stadium, showcasing his character’s action-packed style.

Basso shared his enthusiasm in a behind-the-scenes video, exclaiming, “Three words: I will live.” He completed 25 practice jumps to earn his skydiving certification, making the actual jump seem effortless. Interestingly, Netflix hinted that a similar leap will be featured in one of the new episodes.

So, who exactly is Gabriel Basso?

Basso, 30, is from St. Louis, Missouri. He is the only son of Louis and Marcie Basso, and he has two sisters, Alexandria and Annalise. The family opted for home-schooling. Marcie, his mother, tried her hand at acting and appeared in the 2007 horror film Ghost Image, but she didn’t achieve major fame. Nevertheless, all three of her children have found their way into the entertainment world. Alexandria is known for her roles in iCarly and Alice Upside Down, while Annalise has appeared in films like Captain Fantastic and Slender Man.

Basso began acting at a young age, which paved the way for his current career. His journey in Hollywood is a testament to talent and determination, and fans are eager to see what he brings to The Night Agent in the upcoming season.
