This 20,000-square-foot facility offers residents access to a range of health services, including primary care, urgent care, obstetrics and gynecology, orthopedics, and sports medicine.

Hoag’s commitment to wellness is evident in its unique “health lab.” Here, locals can explore healthy living options like pilates and nutrition guidance. This center is part of a growing trend to provide healthcare more effectively in underserved areas.

Robert Braithwaite, Hoag’s President and CEO, described Southern Orange County as a “health care desert.” He noted that “there are about a million people south of the El Toro Y, with limited healthcare options nearby.” His aim is to integrate wellness services to better meet community needs.

In fact, a recent study highlighted that 25% of residents in Southern Orange County expressed a need for better access to specialized health services. Braithwaite believes this new center will bridge the gap for patients who often feel lost after a diagnosis. Patients will receive guidance throughout their healthcare journey, making it easier to engage with their wellness plans.

The facility features a bright and open design, aimed at reducing the stress often associated with medical visits. Marcy Brown, Hoag’s senior vice president and COO, emphasized the inviting atmosphere. The lobby is designed to feel more like a spa than a typical clinic.

During the opening, a community event allowed residents to tour the center and learn about the offered services. New physicians, some from leading academic health systems, have joined the Hoag network, bringing advanced expertise to the region.
