Full Sail graduates excelled on various projects celebrated at the 97th Annual Academy Awards.
WINTER PARK, Fla. – March 2, 2025 – Full Sail University proudly announces that 14 of its alumni contributed to five Oscar-winning films this year. The awards ceremony was held at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood and broadcast on ABC.
This year, graduates took on vital roles like Supervising Sound Editor, Animator, and Assistant Editor on winning films. Their hard work behind the scenes truly shone through.
“We’re proud of the dedication our graduates showcased in their work,” said Jay Noble, Vice President of Alumni. “Congratulations to those who contributed to nominated and winning films. Their achievements inspire our whole community!”
Alumni were involved in several notable winning projects. One of them, Wicked, took home awards in Costume Design and Production Design. Another alumni-influenced film, Anora, won big in categories like Best Picture and Best Directing.
In total, 47 Full Sail graduates worked on 18 projects nominated for awards across 21 categories this year.
