Golf is evolving beyond just a weekend pastime. For many busy professionals, it’s become a key place to build relationships and network in a relaxed setting.
More people are drawn to golf tournaments, whether they’re business executives, community members, or sports fans. The thrill of competition combined with the opportunity to socialize makes these events especially appealing.
Recently, Paramount Gading Serpong hosted the ‘Paramount Annual Golf Tournament 2026’ at Gading Raya Golf Club. This lively event took place on May 20, 2026, bringing together 144 players from various backgrounds, including business leaders and golf enthusiasts.
Not only was it a competition, but it also served as a platform for participants to connect and celebrate partnerships. Norman Daulay, a director at Paramount Land, emphasized the importance of fostering community spirit and relations during the event.
He mentioned that this tournament was part of a broader celebration of two decades of Paramount Enterprise. “We hope this tournament becomes a highlight every year, promoting sportsmanship and contributing positively to both the community and the golf scene in Indonesia,” he said.
Chrissandy Dave, another director, added that the tournament aims to create shared experiences. “It’s about building Gading Serpong’s image as a vibrant area that hosts lifestyle and sports events,” he noted.
The tournament followed a System 36 format and included various categories like Best Gross and Best Net. Winners walked away with trophies and prizes worth hundreds of millions, including a luxury car and a new home. Skill challenges like Nearest to The Pin and Longest Drive added fun to the competition.
Besides golfing, the event featured music and product showcases from Paramount Gading Serpong. According to Ferry John, the Sales & Marketing Director, it was also a chance to unveil Matera Lakeside, a premium residential project by the scenic Cihuni Lake. This development promises a modern resort feel, combining luxury with a lush environment.
Community events like this emphasize the goal of Paramount Gading Serpong: to create spaces where urban residents can engage and live actively. With golf gaining popularity as a social activity, it’s changing the way we view sports and relationships in the business world.
According to recent surveys, over 60% of business professionals see golf as a vital networking tool. This reflects a trend where leisure activities increasingly double as professional spaces, shaping the future of networking and collaboration.
In summary, golf is not just a sport; it’s a dynamic platform for relationship-building within an enjoyable atmosphere, and events like the Paramount Annual Golf Tournament highlight this transformation.
