Mobile Food Pantry in Northern Illinois
Rooted for Good, a nonprofit mobile food pantry, is hitting the road this February to provide free groceries to the community. This initiative aims to support those facing food insecurity in Northern Illinois.

- Feb. 4: 4 PM – 5 PM at Hinckley First United Methodist Church, Hinckley
- Feb. 8: 3 PM – 5 PM at University Village Apartments, DeKalb
- Feb. 10: 3 PM – 5 PM at Cortland Lions Club Shelter, Cortland
- Feb. 12: 11 AM – 12 PM at Westminster Presbyterian Church, DeKalb
- Feb. 17: 3 PM – 5 PM at University Village Apartments, DeKalb
- Feb. 19: 3:30 PM – 5 PM at Malta Historical and Genealogical Society, Malta
- Feb. 24: 4 PM – 6 PM at St. Paul the Apostle Parish, Sandwich
- Feb. 26: 11 AM – 12 PM at Westminster Presbyterian Church, DeKalb
At their main location in Genoa, they also run a food pantry, offer bi-monthly “pay-as-you’re-able” meals, and host classes on gardening and cooking.
