As he changed his eating habits, his blood sugar levels improved. It took just four months to stop using fast-acting insulin and about a year to go completely off insulin. Today, he’s down from five medications to just one pill. “My health numbers are amazing,” he reports.

His daily routine now revolves around fitness. He kicks off each morning with cardio, then dives into weight training after work. He’s focused on hitting a protein target of about 200 grams a day from sources like chicken and eggs, all in preparation for that bodybuilding competition.

Choosing a Natural Path

Although he considered GLP-1 medications, Anders opted against them. “My current plan is working,” he insists. He stresses the importance of building long-lasting habits instead of looking for shortcuts. “My life is really transforming,” he shares.

Life After Change

Today, Anders enjoys a richer life. Weekends now mean outings to festivals and the beach with his wife, who has also lost 85 pounds. He credits their support system for keeping him motivated through tough times. “We both dove in together and that made a big difference,” he notes.

Reflecting on his journey, Anders believes that full commitment was the key. “You have to jump in with both feet,” he encourages others.
