The India Pavilion-Bharat at the World Expo 2025 in Osaka saw an impressive turnout over the weekend, attracting more than 23,000 visitors. They came to explore India’s rich heritage, remarkable space achievements, and exquisite handicrafts.

This surge in visitors was shared through posts from the Indian Trade Promotion Organisation (ITPO) and the Indian Embassy in Japan. On Twitter, ITPO highlighted the Pavilion’s diverse offerings, from India’s scientific innovations to the calming practice of yoga, which leaves a lasting impression on everyone.

Among the visitors was Dr. HC Nik Gugger, a member of the Swiss National Council. He and his family enjoyed the unique experiences the Pavilion provided. One of the standout features was the “Chandrayaan Zone,” where guests learned about India’s groundbreaking achievements in space exploration. Cultural performances were another highlight. A mesmerizing Kathak dance by Nalini Toshniwal and Ruchika Dance Academy captivated audiences, showcasing the depth and beauty of Indian classical dance.
