If you’re in the Randall Park, Buffington, Upper Westside, or Westridge neighborhoods of Eau Claire, get ready for a visit from the Health Department starting June 2, 2026. They’ll be conducting the yearly Residential Environmental Quality Assessment to check on how well the neighborhoods are doing.
This survey is all about examining the environment around your home. Health Department staff will look at various parts of your property, including the roof, chimney, windows, and even sidewalks. The good news is they’ll only assess areas that are publicly accessible—no one will come onto your private land without permission.
If your home needs further inspection, the Health Department will send you a letter. They’ll then arrange a time to visit and discuss any issues that might need fixing.
