Discover Local Treasures at BRI UMKM EXPO(RT) 2025: Your Gateway to Global Markets!

JAKARTA, Indonesia – PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk is excited to announce the 6th BRI UMKM EXPO(RT) 2025. This event shows BRI’s dedication to supporting Indonesian Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in reaching international markets.

The expo will take place from January 30 to February 2, 2025, at ICE BSD City Nusantara. This year’s theme is “Broadening MSME’s Global Outreach.” BRI aims to boost the competitiveness of MSMEs and open new business opportunities worldwide.

During a press conference on January 24, notable figures like BRI’s Commercial, Small, and Medium Business Director, Amam Sukriyanto, and Djalin Design’s Managing Director, Dimas Wibisono, spoke about the event and the importance of supporting MSMEs.

The response from Indonesian MSMEs has been fantastic. Over 3,000 applicants submitted entries, and 1,000 outstanding MSMEs were selected across five categories: Home Décor & Craft, Food & Beverage, Accessories & Beauty, Fashion & Wastra, and Healthcare & Wellness. Attendees can look forward to various activities, including expos, partner gatherings, talk shows, workshops, and competitions like the Indonesia Barista Championship and the Indonesia Brewers Cup Championship.

Additionally, there will be the BRI Microfinance Outlook 2025, an international seminar focusing on ‘Empowering the People’s Economy: A Pillar for Inclusive and Sustainable Growth.’ This seminar will include talks from experts and leaders, including Indonesia’s Minister of Finance Sri Mulyani and Chief Economist of the Asian Development Bank Albert Francis Park. Renowned economist Paul Romer will also share insights on enhancing financial inclusion.

This event promises to be a significant step in supporting a people-centered economy and encouraging sustainable growth.
