  • Bene’s Beef opened in Lewiston, offering delicious roast beef sandwiches and tallow fries. Their standout item, The Old Timer, features American cheese, shaved onions, pickles, and whole grain mustard. You can find Bene’s at 990 Lisbon Street, open Tuesday to Saturday from noon to 7 PM.
  • In mid-July, Sonder & Dram, a popular cocktail bar in Lewiston, will close its doors after five years. Known for creating a community atmosphere, owners expressed gratitude to everyone who supported them over the years. The bar has been a local favorite since 2018.
  • Blue Feather Kitchen + Bar has launched in Lewiston as well. They serve a variety of appetizers, salads, sandwiches, tacos, entrees, and desserts like bananas foster. You can visit them from Tuesday to Saturday, 11 AM to 9 PM, and enjoy Sunday brunch from 8 AM to 2 PM.
  • Bao & Beyond is planning to open in Augusta. They’ve started a NuMarket campaign to fund their buildout and have raised $5,000 of their $25,000 goal. This initiative gives back, letting supporters earn credits for future meals.
  • Owners of Revel Board and Beverage, Emma Martin and Sami Smart, are opening a new wine bar in Falmouth. This space will also include a market with grab-and-go cheese boards, snack boxes, and other provisions. Look for them near Sapporo and Cafe Luna.
  • Tern Coffee has opened in Brunswick, getting attention from industry publication Sprudge. This new coffee bar aims to be a gathering spot for locals and coffee lovers alike.
  • Travel and Leisure has shared a travel guide for Ogunquit, highlighting great dining options for summer visitors.
