Discover Prehistoric Wonders: ‘Expedition: Dinosaur’ Opens This Weekend at The Science Spectrum!

Get ready for a thrilling adventure! The Science Spectrum is excited to present Expedition: Dinosaur! From February 15 to June 1, 2025, it’s time to step back 75 million years and dive into the world of dinosaurs.

This exhibition is packed with fun and surprises. Imagine seeing life-sized, moving dinosaurs that roar and create a realistic atmosphere. You’ll feel like you’re walking right alongside these magnificent creatures!

Check out some of the dinosaurs you’ll meet:

  • Albertosaurus (a cousin of T-Rex)
  • Amargasaurus
  • Carnotaurus
  • Kentrosaurus
  • Pachycephalosaurus
  • Velociraptors
  • Dilophosaurus
  • Triceratops
  • Stegosaurus

But that’s not all! You can also become a paleontologist for a day. Explore interactive cabinets filled with fossils and digging tools. Play with an augmented reality sandbox and discover how landscapes influence Earth’s climate. Try to hatch a dino egg without cracking it! There are puzzles to solve about dinosaur species and a rubbing station to create your own dinosaur etchings.

Learn about dinosaur anatomy too. Watch how their tails move, how gizzards work, and even how dinosaur eggs hatch. Don’t forget to take a photo with the impressive T-Rex head before you leave!

For an extra treat, catch the film Dinosaurs: Giants of Patagonia at the OMNI Theater, running from February 14 to June 1. Find showtimes and tickets on the Science Spectrum website: https://www.sciencespectrum.org.
