Discover Satcube’s New Enhanced Government Terminals: Versatile Solutions for Every Environment!

Satcube has launched new government satellite communication terminals that are tougher and more secure. These upgraded terminals, like the popular Satcube Ku and Secure models, are perfect for important operations where safety is key. They now offer fast broadband connectivity in less than a minute.

Using these terminals is easy, thanks to a simple interface and a unique 3D “point-and-locate” feature that helps users find and connect to the network quickly. A cool new update is the “dark mode,” which dims the screen and changes the colors from white to dark green. This makes the display less noticeable, especially in sensitive situations.

To enhance discretion even further, the transmission lights on the antennas will stay off during use. Satcube is also introducing two new colors for these terminals, Moss and Sand, to help them blend into different environments. These colors will be available starting in February 2025.

On the security side, there are new Screen and PIN locks. Users can choose to turn off the screen manually or set a timer for it to turn off automatically. The PIN lock ensures that only authorized users can access the terminals again, adding an extra layer of safety.

Beyond software updates, Satcube has improved the hardware, too. The new models come with a better elevation wheel, stronger paracord reinforcements, and can work in a wider range of temperatures, from -35°C to +60°C.

Robert Mellberg, Satcube’s Chief Commercial Officer, expressed excitement about these advancements. He emphasized that these improvements will help government users secure their satellite communications better than ever.
