This model shares a platform with the recently introduced KTM 390 Adventure, which debuted earlier this year. So, what sets the 2025 KTM 390 Enduro R apart? The Indian version has some tweaks compared to its global counterpart. For starters, it features a seat height that’s 30mm lower at 860mm and a ground clearance reduced by 19mm, bringing it to 253mm. The bike’s wheel travel has also been adjusted, with the front and rear travel reduced from 230mm to 200mm and 205mm, respectively. These alterations make it more suited for Indian riders.

When it comes to weight, the Indian model tips the scales at 170 kg, which is heavier than the global version at 159 kg. This extra weight comes from added accessories like pillion footpegs and engine guards, which are necessary for Indian regulations. The Enduro R rides on spoked 21-inch front and 18-inch rear Mitas Trail+ dual-purpose tires, perfect for tackling various terrains.

In terms of pricing, the KTM 390 Enduro R is available for Rs 3,36,500 (ex-showroom) and delights fans with its vibrant KTM orange color. For those interested, a booking can be made online with a fully refundable token fee of Rs 1,999. This model will sit between the KTM 390 Adventure X and 390 Adventure S in the lineup and will go head-to-head with competitors like the Kawasaki KLX 230.

The design of the 390 Enduro R is inspired by larger models in KTM’s range. It sports a streamlined appearance with a compact headlamp, taller front mudguard, and a flat seat. High-tech features include a 4.1-inch TFT display that supports Bluetooth connectivity, turn-by-turn navigation, and music controls. The bike offers two riding modes: Street and Offroad. However, it’s worth noting that cruise control is not available, a feature found in models like the 390 Adventure and 390 Duke.

Under the hood, the 2025 KTM 390 Enduro R shares its engine with the 390 Adventure. It has a powerful 399cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled LC4c engine that produces 45.3 bhp and 39 Nm of torque. This engine pairs with a 6-speed gearbox, ensuring a thrilling ride every time.
