In the documentary categories, The Perfect Neighbor won Best Edited Documentary Feature, while HBO’s Pee-wee as Himself took home the documentary television award.
The special honors included Ang Lee, who received the ACE Golden Eddie Filmmaker of the Year Award. Known for his films like Life of Pi and Brokeback Mountain, Lee has made substantial contributions to cinema. Also honored was Arthur Forney, who has edited many episodes of Law & Order, and Robert Leighton, known for films like A Few Good Men.
The ACE Visionary Award went to YouTube, recognizing its impact on content creation. The night also featured an In Memoriam segment, honoring industry greats who have passed away.
