Join the Redwood Region Audubon Society for a free guided walk at the Arcata Marsh and Wildlife Sanctuary this Saturday from 8:30 to 11 a.m. Bring your binoculars and meet Kathryn Wendel at the end of South I Street (Klopp Lake). You’ll get to see stunning views of Humboldt Bay and spot a variety of birds along easy walking trails.
Afternoon Nature Walk
Later in the day, the Friends of the Arcata Marsh will host another free tour. Meet Barbara Reisman at 2 p.m. in the lobby of the Arcata Marsh Interpretive Center on South G Street. Breakfast at the Grange
Craving a hearty meal? Swing by Humboldt Grange No. 501 for breakfast this Saturday from 8 to 11 a.m. You’ll find scrambled eggs, pancakes or biscuits and gravy, sausage, plus drinks like coffee and juice. Adult meals are a $10 donation, while seniors and kids aged 5 to 12 are $7. Little ones under 5 eat for free. These breakfasts happen every fourth Saturday from January to October. Wetlands Volunteer Day
Want to give back to nature? The Redwood Region Audubon Society is organizing a Wigi Wetlands volunteer day this Saturday from 9 to 11 a.m. Volunteers will help restore a section of the bay trail and create bird-friendly habitats by removing invasive plants and debris. Dance Nights at the Moose Lodge
Every Monday from 7 to 9:30 p.m., enjoy live music and dancing at the Moose Lodge on Campton Road, Eureka. Admission is just $9, and it’s a great way to unwind and socialize.
Bingo Night
Looking for a fun evening? Join in for bingo every Tuesday at the Moose Lodge starting at 5 p.m. The snack bar will be open, and early bird games kick off at 6 p.m. Regular games start at 6:30 p.m., and all proceeds support community initiatives.
