Samsung Electronics has exciting news! Their Neo QLED and Lifestyle TVs have received the EyeCare Circadian certification from VDE, a respected electrical engineering institute in Germany. This certification shows Samsung’s commitment to creating technology that promotes well-being and helps your eyes feel good.
Taeyong Son, Executive Vice President at Samsung, stated, “This certification highlights our focus on enhancing user experiences. We aim to reduce eye strain while delivering top-notch picture quality.” Samsung promises to keep innovating products that meet users’ needs while providing great entertainment and long-term comfort.
The certification applies to key models like The Frame and The Serif. VDE checks six important factors: safety for eyes, gentleness to eyes, flicker level, uniformity, color fidelity, and the Circadian Stimulus (CS) index. These factors assist in evaluating visual comfort and the alignment with natural body rhythms.
A standout feature is EyeComfort Mode, which adjusts brightness and color temperature based on the time of day and lighting conditions. This helps reduce eye strain when watching TV during the day and creates a calming environment at night.
This recognition adds to a list of awards for Samsung TVs, showcasing their user-friendly approach. The Neo QLED series had previously secured the VDE Circadian Rhythm Display certification. Moreover, Samsung’s Lifestyle TVs have received Glare-Free verification for minimizing eye strain. Samsung TVs are also Pantone Validated, highlighting their impressive color accuracy.
