- Wakie Wakie’s has just opened its doors in Westbrook at 652 Main Street. This cozy café offers a variety of breakfast items, smoothies, and Thai-inspired dishes. - In Rockland, Cafe Grazie, brought to life by Marcy Taubes and Marjory Sweet, is serving up Italian delicacies like focaccia breakfast sandwiches and rigatoni with kale walnut pesto. - In sad news, Dizzy Bird in Biddeford has permanently closed. After trying to restructure, the owners decided to shut down for good.
- Tern Coffee Roasters is now open in Brunswick! The husband-and-wife duo Chris and Heidi Townsend serve specialty coffee and baked goods at their cozy counter at 141A Maine Street. They’re open Tuesday to Saturday from 7:30 am to 2 pm.
