Apple is testing the upcoming iOS 26.3, set to launch in late January. This update is smaller than previous ones, focusing mainly on a few key features.
One big change is a new tool for switching from iPhone to Android. Users can place their iPhone next to an Android device, making it easy to transfer photos, messages, and apps without needing any extra software. However, health data and secure items like locked notes won’t transfer. Google’s similar feature allows for two-way data sharing, enhancing flexibility for users wanting to switch between platforms.
Another interesting addition is “Notification Forwarding.” This lets notifications from your iPhone appear on third-party devices like Android smartwatches. Currently, it’s only available in the European Union, addressing concerns that such devices should have equal access to notifications, much like the Apple Watch does.
Additionally, the update introduces a new section for Weather wallpapers. Users can choose from three pre-designed wallpapers, visually showcasing different weather updates directly on the Lock Screen.
