Join the fun at Sedona’s “Little Learners STEAM Hour,” a free program for kids aged 2 to 5. Every Monday in February, from 10 to 11 a.m., children can engage in interactive science activities at Posse Grounds Park’s Recreation Room. Parents or guardians must stay with their little ones as they explore new concepts and experiments.

According to Jason Vargo, the Parks and Recreation Special Events Coordinator, this initiative is all about sparking curiosity. “It’s exciting to see young kids fascinated by science. This is our first time offering this program, and we hope to make winter a little more interesting,” he shared.
Here’s what to expect each Monday:
- Feb. 3: DIY Dinosaur Fossils
- Feb. 10: Static Electricity Butterflies
- Feb. 17: Sink or Float?
- Feb. 24: Parachute Challenge
