FALCON HEIGHTS, Minn. (FOX 9) – The Minnesota State Fair is gearing up for an exciting fresh food lineup in 2025, featuring eight new vendors and 33 unique dishes. It’s the “Great Minnesota Get-Together,” and the anticipation is already building!

Let’s dive into what you can expect from these new offerings:

1. Beans & Beignets

This vendor specializes in fresh beignets—light and fluffy pastries covered in powdered sugar. Pair them with drinks like coffee or chai lattes for a perfect match. You’ll find them at Judson Avenue and Clough Street.

2. Chocolate Strawberry Cup

Craving something sweet? This spot serves strawberries with a twist! Choose from flavors like Belgian chocolate or matcha white chocolate. They even have a delicious “Strawberries & Cream” option topped with whipped cream. Check them out at Dan Patch Avenue and Cooper Street.

3. Greater Tater

With their giant Tater Kegs, this vendor fills deep-fried potatoes with tasty ingredients like bacon and cheese. They even offer dipping sauces to spice things up. Find them by the Horse Barn along Liggett Street.

4. Lumpia City

Crispy Filipino spring rolls take center stage here, with flavors like Pizza and Ube Butter Banana French Toast. A delightful fusion, indeed! You’ll find Lumpia City on Judson Avenue between Liggett and Clough streets.

5. Magdalena’s Chimney Cakes

For a unique dessert, try their Chimney Cakes—Hungarian pastries filled with ice cream and toppings like Nutella. They’re a sweet way to cool off. Visit them on Judson Avenue between Clough and Nelson streets.

6. Midtown Global Market’s Irie Jamaican

If you like spicy dishes, this vendor has oxtail served with sweet plantains and coconut shrimp skewers. It’s a taste of Jamaica you won’t want to miss, from August 27 to September 1, at the International Bazaar’s east wall.

7. Midtown Global Market’s Oasis Grill & Hoyo Sambusa

Specializing in Somali cuisine, they offer mini and full-sized sambusas along with delicious Somali Street Fries. You can find them from August 21-26 at the International Bazaar, east wall.

8. Urban Glow Mocktails

For non-alcoholic drinkers, Urban Glow Mocktails presents a variety of craft mocktails like the Distinctive Dirty NoTini and the refreshing Autumn Mule. And don’t forget to try their Cheweenies—mini hot dogs nestled in sweet rolls. Visit them at the North End, across from the Event Center.
