The Amrit Bharat Express is set to launch today, linking Rajendra Nagar (Patna) with New Delhi. It offers an affordable fare: Rs 350 for general class and Rs 560 for sleeper class. This makes it a budget-friendly alternative to the more expensive Vande Bharat and other premium trains.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will virtually inaugurate this train from Motihari, aiming to serve the needs of everyday travelers. Initially, it will operate as a special service, departing Rajendra Nagar at 11:45 AM and arriving in New Delhi at 4:00 AM the next day. Regular services will begin on July 31, 2025, from Patna, and August 1, 2025, from New Delhi.
Travel Timings:
- Rajendra Nagar to New Delhi: Leaves at 7:45 PM, arrives at 1:10 PM the next day.
- New Delhi to Rajendra Nagar: Leaves at 7:10 PM, arrives at 11:45 AM the next day.
