Comfort is also a priority. The Western Railway has upgraded the Tejas sleeper coach, adding fully air-conditioned compartments with bright, golden decor. Each coach comes with essential amenities such as mobile charging points and reading lights, making journeys more enjoyable.
Security is taken seriously on the Tejas Express, too. Each coach is equipped with six cameras for live recording, featuring day-night vision and facial recognition capabilities. There’s even a panic button in the restrooms, adding peace of mind for passengers.
According to a recent survey by the Indian Railways, 87% of passengers reported feeling safer while traveling on trains equipped with modern security features like those found in the Tejas Express. This reflects a growing trend in railway safety innovation across India.
